Wanderlust

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”

Terry Pratchett

Winter in Paris

Winter in Paris

$160.00

The first time I saw the Eiffel tower, I was traveling with my two sisters in the dead of winter. It was bitingly cold as we braved the freezing rain to see the lights twinkle at dusk. But it was worth every second.

I painted this from mere memory, drawing from nostalgia of walking the wintry Paris streets past souvenir shops and cafes.

20"x16" oil painting on canvas.
