Branches Series

As a kid, I loved climbing trees. They provided me a brief escape where my introverted self could sit in peace and think, or play, or pretend I was Peter Pan. Later, after multiple scoliosis-related back surgeries in my teens, I now see trees a little differently. Their twisted trunks symbolize strength, resilience, and ultimate growth, echoing my own journey battling chronic back pain. The bold, bright colors represent strength through trials, seeing the world in a new light, in a different way, all the while refusing to let go of a playful viewpoint.
