If you ever get the chance to try Feuerzangenbowle (Fire Punch) at a German Christmas market, do it. Mulled (hot, spiced) wine with a sugar cube on top. The sugar cube is soaked in rum then lit on fire. It keeps you warm against the cold winter air, plus if you want you can keep the mug after paying a deposit. I took home too many mugs from my first visit, but no regrets!
